九眼桥拆掉以后,终于又要在锦江上重建了.
九眼桥始建于明代万历二十一年(公元1593年),距今已有400年的历史.桥如其名,共有9洞,原名洪济桥,又名锁江桥,是锦江上最大的一座石拱桥.
Jiuyanqiao (Nine-Arched Bridge) is a famed tourist destination in Chengdu. The original one was a nine-arched stone bridge that was built in the Ming Dynasty, A white pagoda stood at the southern end of the bridge, which formed the peculiar scene of 'The Bridge looks like a bow and the pagoda, an arrow'. Jiuyanqiao, the only way leading to Sichuan University was a busy place, where rickshaws came and went in an endless flow.
