如何建设、巩固和发展社会主义？ 首要的问题是弄清什么是社会主义。而社会主义则是一个当代资本主义行将过时而取而代之的社会制度。两者之间有着重大的关联。所以，认真搞清楚什么是资本主义，特别是当代资本主义的主要特征，是我们深刻而全面地认识社会主义的重要途径。当代资本主义是一个十分复杂的事物。它既是一个尚对生产力发展有着巨大促进作用的社会制度，又是一个暴露出许多重大弊端的社会制度。我们只有用马克思主义关于生产力和生产关系、经济基础和上层建筑的关系等基本原理去客观、全面、辩证地分析研究，才能真正认识清楚当代资本主义的真实面目。

Resume: How to build, strengthen and develop socialism? The first thing is that we must make sure of socialism. Socialism is a social system that will take the place of the Contemporary Capitalism. The relationship between them is very important. We must made sure what is Capitalism, esp. the main characteristic of the Contemporary Capitalism, because it's the way that we can know socialism deeply and fully. The Contemporary Capi- talism is very complicated because it's a social system that is not only useful to the development of productive forces but also is a system with many malpractices. If we use the basic principles and productive relationship, between the economy basic and the superstructure, to analyse and study the Contemporary capitalism successfully. It is the only way that we can understand capitalism correctly.
