公平与效率的关系问题始终是“经济学中永恒的主题”。弄清公平的内涵是正确认识和处理公平与效率关系的前提和关键。公平与平等的内涵是不同的。在社会主义市场经济条件下 ,我们必须把公平区分为经济公平和社会公平 ,在此基础上 ,来进一步认识公平与效率的关系。

The relationship between fairness and efficiency is an eternal subject in economics. Understanding the meaning of fairness is the premise for dealing with the relationship between fairness and efficiency. Fairness is different from equality. In socialist market economy,we must distinguish fairness from economic fairness and social fairness,and on base of that,know further the relationship between fairness and efficiency.
