摘要
This paper points out that with interference from their native language and culture, Chinese students will inevitably make some errors in the process of learning English. It is important for teachers to know when and how to correct the students’ errors. By employing error-correction skillfully and appropriately, one can expect to improve the present English teaching and learning, to develop the self-confidence and self-esteem in students themselves.
