子产改革新论

Discussion about Zi Chan's Reformation

学界多认为子产改革具有进步意义 ,本文通过对《左传》有关史料的疏理分析 ,最终认为子产改革是保守的。文章认为要确定子产改革的性质必须把握住两点 :子产以大族利益为先 ;子产认为处理政事要“行无越思” ,即以不损害大族利益为限度。文章还分析了子产改革成功的各种有利条件。

Most scholars think that Zi Chan's reformation is progressive. After analysing historical data from Zuo Zhuan, the writer thinks that Zi Chan's reformation is conservative. This article says that before judging the character of Zi Chan's reformation, people must remember the fact that Zi Chan takes priority to the nobles, and Zi Chan believes that all actions mustn't damage the nobles' rights. The end of the paper analyses why Zi Chan succeeded.
