摘要
夸张与含蓄陈述是英语中两种主要的修辞手段 .作者就两者在英语语言中的不同用法及特点作一初步的探讨。
Hyperbole and understatement are two chief rhetorical figures in English language. To know something about them and try to use them in your communicative language can make your writing more impressive and your language more clourful.This paper aims to disscuss their different kinds of functions and usages in the English language.
