摘要
语言是文化的一面镜子,透过语言我们可以窥见人类文化的发展历史。植根于两种截然不同的文化背景之中的英汉两种语言,不可避免地存在着巨大的文化差异。本文试图通过英汉习语,分析中西文化的差异。
A language is just like a mirror of the culture. We can see human history from languages. English and Chinese rooted in two k;nds of opposite cultural backgrounds. There are great cultural differences between them inevitably. This paper tries to search the differences between Chinese and English cultures from idoms.
