The Chinese versions of the Buddhist scriptures,compared with other Chinese native documcnts,have an unreplacable importance and spccial valuc in the field of Chinese vocabulary history.Among them,the versions of the Three kingdoms represented by ZhiQian,which are done earlier and in a great quantity,are full of Chinese spoken language elements so that they need special attention and profuond rescarch.
