摘要
晚清末期的小说创作呈现出一个醒目的共同倾向,即作者们不约而同地在行旅书写中将自己的理想赋予女性形象之上,以极大的热情为她们添加光彩,演绎神话。这一创作倾向有几种书写模式:或为行旅书写中的萍水相逢的女性形象;或本身即为行旅叙事的主人公;晚清末期的行旅书写中的女主角,还有另一种情形,她们没有被过分突出新旧学问的闪亮光彩,但或忠贞得有些匪夷所思,或"淫荡"得令人瞠目结舌,她们以矛盾的身姿共同冲撞着传统伦理中最敏感的环节——节烈观。这些模式开启了新的书写女性形象的范式,诠释着转折时代的风貌与意义。在此种倾向演为风潮之际,传统文学的脉络迅速式微,现代中国文学的种种重要命题与矛盾亦于此奠基。
