从毕业论文的视角看英语专业学生的逻辑思维能力

On English Majors’ Logical Thinking Capabilities Reflected from Their Graduation Theses.

英语专业学生的逻辑思维能力较低,在毕业论文中表现为分析判断能力较差、思维较混乱、逻辑推理错误和归纳能力不足。其主要原因是由于课程结构的不合理、所学内容的知识水平较低和学习过程思维训练较少所造成的。笔者认为应调整课程结构、加强课内的逻辑思维训练以及多组织相关的课外活动,以提高学生的综合素质,为社会输送更高质量的人才。

Seen from their graduation theses,English majors are poor in logical thinking——weak analysis and judgment,confused thinking,wrong logical reasoning,and lack of induction.The reason lies in improper curriculum structure,limited learning and lack of thinking training.It’s time to improve the curriculum,strengthen logical thinking exercises and organize more relative activities,so as to enhance the overall quality of students and provide more talented people for the society.
