《审视瑶函》是明代傅仁宇的一部眼科专著,全书共六卷,其中有两卷是针灸篇,叙述了眼与经络的关系,并对眼科针灸病证作了详细的描述。该书在针灸方面的可借鉴之处在于重视眼与内脏和经络的关系;以针救急,把针刺作为一种见效快的应急手段;详尽辨证,提出了行针之大法;防治眼病,概不离眼科要穴。

The Inspecting the Gem Casket is an monograph on ophthalmology written by Fu Renyu in Ming Dynasty.The book consists of six volumes,two of which are about acupuncture and moxibustion describing the relationship between eyes and channels in the human body and giving detailed analysis on curing eye disease through acupuncture and moxibustion.The two volumes have the following aspects for reference: paying attention to the relationship between eyes and human internal organs;regarding the acupuncture and moxibustion as a mean of first aid with an instant effect;presenting the manipulation of needle by detailed authentication;contending that to prevent and treat eye disease should base on key ophthalmological acupuncture points.
