虽然只在中岩寺驻留两天,但这里的石级清泉,这里的清幽野趣,这里的优美传说,这里的摩崖造像,这里的人文历史……一闭上眼所有的细节都会浮现."山不在高,有仙则名;水不在深,有龙则灵".海拔仅520米左右的中岩寺,早已蜚声遐迩,名传千古了.
Zhongyan Temple is located in the southeast of the Minjiang River in Qingshen County,9 km to the county seat and about 2 hours'ride from Chengdu.The temple was first built in the East Jin Dynasty and completed in the Tang Dynasty.As a holy place for Buddhism,Mt. Zhongyan is also known as minor Mt.Emei. The mountains encircling Zhongyan Temple soar high veiling in mystery,as tranquil as Mt. Qingcheng,but presenting more moving sense, as beautiful as Mt.Emei,but less showy.The rivers winding through look graceful and attrac- tive.The beauty of Zhongyan lies in the grotesque precipitousness of the mountains and the gracefulness and sereneness of the rivers and its profound historical and cultural connotation.
