秦岭山脉是我国长江黄河的分水岭,它东西绵亘数百公里,在地理、地貌、气候、自然景观等方面把我国分为很明显的南北两个部份.
Mt. Taibai, the highest peak of the Qinling Mountain is situated at the intersection point of the east, west, south and north of China. Its summit, Boxiantai is 3767.2 m above sea level. The mount is a natural species gene pool. It has been verified that there are 1550 kinds of seed plants, 230 kinds of birds, 40 kinds of animals including giant panda and golden monkey, the national treasures. Mt. Taibai is well-known far and near for its beautiful scenery, The Mt. Taibai National Forest Park that is on the list of 8 scenic areas in Shaanxi Province is one of the most travelled tourist destinations. Today, a grade 2 special highway links it with other famous scenic spots such as Famen Temple and Qianling Mausoleum.
