The state-level Baishui River Nature Reserve is situated in Wenxian County, Gansu Province, An old ethnic nationality inhabits in the area, They call themselves the descendants of a clan and locals call them Baima Tibetan or Baima people, Baima people dwell in the high mountains and valleys of the Minshan Mountain range, They have no scripts but only spoken language, which is said to be close to that of the Qiang ethnic people. They are gorgeously and peculiarly dressed and have pristine custom. They make a living as a farmer, shepherd, beekeeper and weaver. They embrace the Confucianism culturally and believe in the worship of nature god, such as mountain god, water god, earth god, fire god and above all, respect their ancestors,
