Lively, Beautiful and Practical- On the Reform of Language Teaching

语文教育界一直在喊改革 ,热闹了几十年 ,从未平静过 ,可是语文教育的现状仍不容乐观 ,仍存在着种种弊端。注重语文教育的活、美、实 ,无疑是语文教育改革要追求的又一理想境界 ,要达到活、美、实这一境界 ,关键是提高语文教师的整体素养。

There has been call for language teaching reform for dozen of years, and has never stopped. Yet, the existing situation of language teaching is not very satisfactory. There are still many defects. The author thinks that language teaching being lively, beautiful and practical is no doubt an ideal stage of language teaching reform. In order to get to the stage of being lively, beautiful and practical, the overall quality of language teachers must be improved.
