This paper,starting from the schema theory,gives a systematic discussion of Schank's script Theory including the characteristics of script,the components of script,such as roles,props,and actions, the concept of semantic primitives and their functions, The paper then presents an in-depth analysis of classroom script. The relationship between script and memory is also involved and the weak points of Schank's theory are pointed out in the paper.
