随着科学技术的飞速发展,来自不同国家及各种文化背景的人们有了越来越多的交流机会。在跨文化交际中,由于文化差异引起的语用失误常常导致交际失败甚至产生不愉快的英语交际。本文阐述了一些影响语言交际的文化因素,进一步探讨大学英语教学中文化教学的重要性。本文的目的在于增强学生的跨文化意识,从而提高他们的跨文化交际能力。

With the rapid development of science and technology, people from different countries and culturalbackgrounds are making more and more communications. In intercultural communication pragmatic failure arousing fromcultural differences often causes communication failure, even gives rise to unpleasant English communication. The presentpaper aims to show some cultural factors in language communication and further explore the importance of culturalteaching in CET. Hence to increase students' intercultural awareness and improve their intercultural communicativecompetence.
