高校应在江泽民“七·一”讲话精神指导下,不断深化教育教学改革,培养高素质人才,并在探索、传播先进生产力、先进文化,推动社会发展过程中发挥高校的社会职能,使高校成为实践“三个代表”的重要基地。

Under the guidance of the spirit of 'July 1' speech given by Comrade Jiang Zemin colleges should constantly deepen education and teaching reformation so as to train and bring up qualified personnel and become the important bases of practicing 'Three representations' in developing their social responsibility in the course of promoting social develop ment and exploring advanced productive power as well as publisizing advanced culture.
