Some problems on integration between TMN(Telecommunication management network) based technology and CORBA(Common object request broker architecture) based technology are pointed out,and an integration framework by combining CORBA and TMN is proposed.On the basis of this framework, a TMN alarm surveillance management is designed within fault management function which can realize integration between the agents described by GDMO/ASN 1 and management applications based CORBA.
