摘要
教育,无论是传统的还是现代的,其本质都既不是单纯的智育,也不是单纯的德育,而是完整地育人;现代教育要促进人的全面发展,也要为社会培养合格人才,二者是有机的统一。生硬割裂二者之间的关系,甚至为了所谓的教育观念创新,将重视智育、为社会培养合格人才主观定性为传统教育本质和教育目标观念,将重视德育、促进人的全面发展主观定性为现代教育本质和教育目标观念是不足取的,实践中是有害的。
The nature of both traditional and modern education should neither be pure intellectual education nor pure moral education,but instead to educate a person integrally.Modern education is an organic unification of encouraging a person s overall development and cultivating an eligible person to meet social needs.It is inconsiderable to separate the relationship subjectively,and a separation is not based on theoretic thinking and is harmful to practice.
