摘要
"蛋果"词是一种富有创意的语言失误。它不同于拼写或误用错误,而是对已有表达的一种替代,而这种替代与原有表达具有语义或语音等方面的联系。文章运用"外延内涵传承说"理论,对于"蛋果"词的形成过程与机制进行研究,并提出外延内涵传承是其形成的基础。
An eggcorn is a language error with creativity embedded in it. This is not a malapropism,but a substitution for a word or expression which is of similar meaning or sound. It is semantically related to the original word/expression and plausible in the same context as well. This paper,based on extension-intension inheritance theory,explores the eggcorn s formation process and mechanism,and it holds that inheritance of intension serves as the motivation for the formation of eggcorns.
