WinPcap is architecture with high performance network based on Win32 platforms and is applied to packet capture applications. WinPcap showed high performance in packet capture, but its statistics and packet injection function was low. Based on WinPcap, this article proposed PtPcap, the architecture applied to protocol test including a set of innovative features that were not available in WinPcap.
