Railway vehicles, able to transport a great number of passengers at a time, are convenient and can save much land resources. Because they use electric power they are often called "Green Vehicles".In the near future there will be 30 percent more travelers choosing to travel by train in Shanghai; the load will be between 12 million to 13 million person-trips a day.
