They are ordinary women. Each suffered the unfortunate experience of being laid off. Instead of giving up and sinking into an abyss of depression and self-doubt, they rose up from their dilemmas and realized their lives were valuable. To mark this year's International Women's Day, the ACWF awarded several model individuals and units that participated in the national Women Rendering Meritorious Services Activity. The program began in 1991.
她们都是普通的劳动妇女,都曾经历过下岗的不幸。但是她们没有消沉,而是勇敢地向命运发起挑战,为自己开创出一片新的辉煌。今年三八节,全国妇联表彰了一批她们这样的先进典型——巾帼建功活动中涌现的标兵。
