Virginia Fumiyo Anami, historian and wife of Japan's ambassador to China, is very interested in Chinese culture and Chinese folk life. She held a photo exhibit in November 2003, entitled "Beijing Village Life," with three other photographers. The display was in Beijing Capital Museum.
