ACWF's work in promoting friendly exchanges with foreign countries is aimed at strengthening mutual understanding, promoting friendly cooperation and safeguarding world peace. Friendly exchanges have been carried out between the ACWF and women's and children's organizations throughout the world. To date, the ACWF has established contact with 697 such organizations in 151 countries and regions. 全国妇联的对外友好交流工作以加强相互了解、促进友好合作、维护世界和平为宗旨,与世界各国的妇女、儿童组织和机 构开展友好交流活动。到目前为止,全国妇联已同世界上151个国家和地区的697个妇女、儿童组织和机构建立了联系。 2003年,全国妇联共接待外国来访妇女代表团22个,派出30个中国妇女代表团出国访问和考察,新争取国际合作项目19个。
