Xiao Xiangyu, elected in 1998 to be one of the ten outstanding youth in China, is a young prominent Yuju Opera performer. With all her years of saving, she established an art school so children from mountainous areas could display their talents onstage. While opening a vast field for the develop ment of Yuju Opera, she has at the same time realized her value in life.
小香玉是位杰出的青年豫剧表演艺术家。她献出全部积蓄创办了中国第一所希望艺术学校,让山里娃进入艺术殿堂施展才华。艺校的诞生,使她个人的艺术生命在孩子们身上得到了延伸。在为豫剧事业拓展了广阔天地的同时,她也真正实现了自己的人生价值。
