Ewenki hunters are Yakutes, the offshoot of the Ewenki people. The Yakute people used to be known as the "reindeer tribe," because they were China's only minority people who raised reindeer for a living. The tribe-which believes in shamanism and worships bears-has existed for more than 2,000 years.
