Who could have imagined love would have sprung out of China's reform and opening up? But it did. Interracial marriages have become fairly common in Yangshuo, a scenic resort in Guangxi, since the early 1990s. More than 120 interracial couples-including the subjects in this article-have been married in the city in the past 11 years.
