Some 1,500 years ago, a group of Indian monks came to Songshan Mountain, in the heart of Henan Province, tobuild a temple. Its name was Shaolin Temple—The Temple of the Young Forest. Through the years, it became thebirthplace of a specific form of martial arts that is now known worldwide: Shaolin Quan.
