China's Yellow River passes through Puzhou Town, in Yongji, Shanxi Province, where Zhaizi Village is situated. It has a history of more than 1,700 years, and it has 339 households. Some 715 men and 737 women inhabit the village. With 1,883 mu (125 hectares) of cultivated land and more than 3,000 mu (200 hectares) of beach land, it mainly produces grain, cotton and asparagus.
