摘要
Ear picks, delicate devices for removing wax from ears, used to be common in China. While not so prominent nowadays, they are still available in stores. The structure of an ear pick is simple: a long, thin handle with a little scoop, or spoon, at the other end. Ear picks are generally made from wood, bamboo, ivory, animal's horns and bones, jade, iron, copper, silver and/or gold. They are small, intricately decorated, and fit comfortably into one's ear.
