过去的20年里,一些国内的教材曾呼吁中老年人挣脱“封建思想”的束缚,争取性的解放;接受现代生活方式,与配偶共同追求浪漫与和谐的性生活;独居老人可寻求黄昏恋、再婚。作者本人对中国中老年妇女的调查显示,一些教材就“封建思想”在老年妇女生活中的影响方面存在一些误区,它们提倡的老年人生活方式解放也与妇女们自己的需求和现实有一定差距。
