During the past 10,000 years, Chinese people have made countless innovations to the bowl's design and production. Their most talented pioneering work involving the bowl, arguably, may be the way they connected it to people's livelihoods and careers. From the "rice bowl" and "iron rice bowl," to the more modern ideology of "breaking the iron rice bowl," China has made progress.
在过去的上万年间,中国人对碗的设计和制作的革新不计其数。而关于碗的最天才的创造,恐怕莫过于把它同人们的谋生之道联结起来。从“饭碗”、“铁饭碗”,到时下的新观念“打破铁饭碗”,中国是在进步着的。
