In July 2006,Chen Lingzhi,a 25-year-old woman from southern China s Guangdong Province,arrived in Equatorial Guinea,in Africa,as the translator for the 23rd Chinese medical team.After arriving there,she suffered from malaria,and she almost lost her life to typhoid fever.Chen has worked in Africa-the continent-for more than one year.She has helped the medical team in treating thousands of patients.She says,"I never regret being here."
