Ancient Chinese thought of 'harmony' has a unique theoretical and practical value in philosophy and cultural tradition.It is widely applied in building a socialist harmonious society,and is included in the socialist core value system.The development of vocational art education should pay attention to the construction of a harmonious teacher-student relationship.The paper introduces the ancient thought,idea and methods of 'harmony' into the research on the relationship between teachers and students in vocational art colleges.Combining the features of teachers and students in vocational art colleges,the thought of 'harmony' can play a role in improving teacher-student relationship,maintaining the stability of the campus and promoting the improvement and development of the college,build a harmonious relationship between teachers and students,enhance the content of vocational art education,improve teaching quality and cultivate qualified talents.
