对民族地区旅游英语教学中民族文化教育的思考

Thoughts on Ethnic Culture Education in Tourism English Teaching in Ethnic Areas

近年来内蒙古旅游业发展蒸蒸日上,培养具有较强地中英双语交际能力地旅游英语专业人才成为必然的趋势。外语教学的根本目的也是在实施一种文化教育要结合语言特点赋予其丰富的语言文化信息,才能更好促进外语学习的成效。高校相对关注外语语言能力地教学而忽略了民族地区文化教育。从而导致相当一部分旅游从业人员无法正确地向外国旅客介绍民族文化。本文探讨了对旅游英语专业实施民族文化教育的必要性,如何进行教育及教学中应该注意地几点问题。

In recent years,the development of Inner Mongolia tourism industry is booming.Training tourism talents with strong Chinese-English communicative competence has become an inevitable trend.The fundamental purpose of foreign language teaching is to implement a kind of cultural education.We should combine linguistic features to enrich it with rich linguistic and culture information so as to promote the effectiveness of foreign language learning.Higher education pays more attention to the teaching of foreign language competence and ignores the cultural education of ethnic regions,which results in the fact that many tour operators can not give an authentic and exact introduction of ethnic culture to overseas visitors.This paper discusses the necessity of implementing ethnic cultural education in tourism specialty and the important points that should be attention to in teaching and education.
