《老子》的文学史意义考论——从“信言不美”谈起

Laozi's Significance in the History of Chinese Literature

《老子》一书,体道高妙,历来为前贤所称颂;《老子》一书,状道亦高妙,前贤却鲜有提及。孔子所谓"言之无文,行而不远",作为一部流传了两千多年的论道之作,《老子》言之有文,可谓信而有征。因此,从一个新的角度来发掘《老子》"言之有文"的文章学价值,必然会促进我们对《老子》文学史意义的进一步思考。

Laozi is of great importance during the whole history of Chinese philosophy.However,its literary value is seldom mentioned by the scholars in fields of literature and philosophy.As argued by Laozi himself,'True words are never resplendent,' many scholars insist on the historical misunderstanding in the book of Laozi that simplicity and naveté are more important than beauty and resplendence.This article focuses on the argument of 'true words are never resplendent,' and discusses the viewpoint of naveté,the strategy of language,the reception of classics and the writing skills demonstrated in Laozi,in order to manifest its significance in the history of Chinese literature.
