Professor Fan Yongsheng's Scholar Experience of Treating Rheumatoid Arthritis

范永升教授根据类风湿关节炎(RA)的临床特点,认为肝肾阴虚贯穿RA病程的始终,治疗时尤其注重滋补肝肾;风、寒、湿、热外袭是RA形成的外因,治疗时注重祛风湿药、解表药合用祛风除湿;RA关节肿痛明显,缠绵日久,治疗时注重毒性药物的运用。

According to the clinical features of rheumatoid arthritis,Professor Fan Yongsheng thinks of the deficiency of Yin in liver and kidney throughout the whole process of RA and emphasis on nourishing liver and kidney particularly.The invasion of abnormal wind,cold,damp and heat are the outside factors of RA and so emphasis shall be on eliminating them by using rheumatism and relieving Chinese herb medicines.When RA continues too long and is hard to be cured,the toxic Chinese herb medicines should be used.
