本文以翻译实践为基础,认为原文、译者、译文、译文读者之间是一种动态的关系,作为阐释者的译者,其能动作用不可忽略。就含有人称代词的英语原文的汉译看,英汉两门语言对人称代词的使用频度不同,汉语译文中做出相应调整是必要的。本文旨在探讨英语代词汉译的一般原则。

This paper argues that the relationship is dynamic between the source language text and the target language text, and the translator and the reader. The translator ought to play an active role in the process of translation, especially from English to Chinese with regard to personal pronouns, the approaches to which may well form different textual styles. This paper explores the principles to guide translation of personal pronouns from English to Chinese.
