Auluguya Ewenki Township, situated in Genhe,a city in the eastern region of the Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region,near the Greater Xing’an Mountains,is the home for reindeer herding in China.One third of the township’s residents are members of the Ewenki minority group.The Ewenkis have hunted and raised reindeer for centuries. Today,reindeer remain an integral part of the residents’ lives.
内蒙古根河市敖鲁古雅鄂温克族乡是中国著名的驯鹿之乡。生活在这里的鄂温克人世代与驯鹿为伴,对驯鹿有着一种特殊的感情。鄂温克人离开了驯鹿,就像雄鹰折断了翅膀。
