On November 11,2005,exactly 1,000 days before the opening ceremonies of the 2008 Beijing Olympics,China unveiled the games’ mascots—Fuwa.Since then,the five lovable plush dolls—Fuwa Beibei,the Fish;Fuwa Jingjing,the Panda;Fuwa Huanhuan,the Olympic Flame;Fuwa Yingying,the Tibetan Antelope;and Fuwa Nini,the Swallow—have been mass produced by the country’s expert toy makers.
