Since ancient times,getting married has been one of the most important events in a person’s life.But to reach that point,two people must find each other.Just how do men and women choose their spouses? As that question is complicated,it is impossible to reach a definitive answer.One thing is certain,however; the standards by which Chinese measure their prospective mates have changed over the past 50 years.Why? To get the pulse of the development of Chinese society,journalists from Women of China recently interviewed some people,most of whom were women.
