Combination with engineering practices of the Shanghai-Nanjing and Ningbo-Taizhou-Wenzhou and many other highways,the paper analyses the major causes of asphalt pavement common diseases in the hot,humid and rainy southern coastal region,and makes a detailed description of the disease diagnosis and treatment,it puts forward some preventive measures and recommendations for highway design,construction and maintenance.
