英语阅读教学在英语教学中占有重要地位,关系到英语专业学生其它技能的培养和提高,打好阅读基础非常必要。作者结合自己阅读课的教学经验,从分析现状、提出问题到提供办法、解决问题,提出了一套符合成人高校学生特点的英语阅读教学法。

Reading plays an important role in English teaching.It affects the fostering and improvement of English majors' other language skills,therefore,building a strong foundation in reading is very necessary.Combining with her own teaching experience about reading class,the author analyzes its present teaching situation,raises the problems existing in reading teaching,offers solutions to the problems,and proposes a set of useful and effective reading teaching methods in accordance with the characteristics of adult college students.
