从顺应论看中国高校简介的英译过程研究

On the study of English translation process of introductions to Chinese universities from the perspective of adaptation theory

本文以Verschueren的顺应理论为基础,探讨中国高校简介英译的过程及研究方法。通过概括中国高校简介英译的研究现状和分析顺应论的研究成果在汉英翻译过程中的运用,得出顺应论对中国高校简介英译过程研究具有一定解释力的结论,以期使中国高校简介英译研究的翻译过程在理论研究上能够得到重视。

This thesis attempts to make a tentative study on the English translation process of introductions to Chinese universities and its research methods from the perspective of adaptatiom theory proposed by Jef.Verschueren.By expounding the current research situation and analyzing the feasible application of the theory in the English translation of introductions to Chinese universities,it concluded that the Adaptation Theory is fairly explanatory in directing the translation process so as to make the English translation process of introductions to Chinese universities be paid more attention in theory.
