The effect of teachers in new College English Teaching mode

本文论述在多媒体网络大学英语教学的条件下,教师在设计单元主题教学模式和以任务型方式实施该模式的过程中的作用;强调教师利用网络工具促进交互式学习的方法以及在线监控学习过程中教师的作用。网络多媒体技术无法动摇教师的主导作用,教师发挥主导作用中应注意把握好任务的主题、有效性,信息量及难度,控制好媒体类型。

This paper aims at expounding the guiding function and practice the college English teacher should perform in the multimedia English learning environment as follows:A theme-based instructive mode is brought forth to fit in with the web-based learning and two types of task-based methods are explained for conducting the instruction.Teachers should take into consideration all aspects of the teaching,e.g.the types of media,the size of the information and the feasibility of the tasks.
