摘要
采用数值模拟技术并借助于大型有限元计算软件 ,通过二维金属切削过程的数值模拟 ,对纳米 Ti N改性的 Ti C基金属陶瓷刀具的应力分布进行了有限元仿真计算 ,并对该种材料刀具的几何参数进行了优化 ,得出较为合理的刀头几何参数。
The reasonable geometric parameters of cutting tool are the main factor for promoting tool life. By means of simulating technology and functional finite element method (FEM) software, a two-dimensional metal cutting process was simulated and then the stress distribution of the TiC cermet cutter modified by Nano TiN was calculated by FEM. Based on this studying method, different FEM models for this cutter were calculated according to different tool orthogonal rakes and the calculated results showed that the equivalent stress in cutting tool was minimum when the tool orthogonal rake was 10°. In order to improve this tool tip strength, the cutting edge shape of the cutter tip was designed to have a land. From calculation, this will also greatly decrease the stress in the cutting tool.
