摘要
口译活动涉及源语发言人、译员和译语听众三方。作为译文的终端接受者,译语听众的类型和构成制约着译语的产出,对口译过程有着显著影响。译员应针对译语听众的不同特点和需要,选择合适的口译策略发布译语,并在传译过程中根据译语听众的接受状况,对译语做出及时有效的调整,以实现译语听众对源语信息的最佳接受。
Interpreting activities involve three parties, i.e. the source language speaker, the interpreter and the target language audience. As interpreting is intended for the target language audience, the composition and expectations of the audience may exert a considerable impact on the process of interpreting. Therefore, the interpreter is supposed to adapt to the characteristics and needs of the audience and make necessary adjustments in the process of interpreting so that the target language audience could best receive the source language information.
