Xiaogang,a village in East China’s Anhui Province, was the first community in the country to introduce reforms that allowed farmers to own property.That was in 1978,and it was the beginning of China’s countryside reform.What improvements,if any, have there been in Xiaogang during the past 30 years?What challenges,if any,have the villagers faced?
